ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi – Lam Thuong* (Lunch, Dinner)
7:00 am – Depart from Hanoi towards Northern Vietnam. There’s a stop along the way for a snack and bathroom break. Then the journey continues to Lam Thuong valley.
12:00 pm – Arrive at the homestay around noon and have lunch. After that we can check into the room and have a bit of free time to relax by the stream or garden at the homestay.
3:00 pm – Cycle around the village and rice fields in Tong Pang village, Ban Kheo. Feel free to go for a swim at the natural swimming pool.
Dinner – Head to Viet’s home to learn how to cook Tay ethnic traditional food and enjoy dinner with a local family.
After dinner – Cycle back to the homestay
Overnight – at Xoi Farmstay.
* From Hanoi to Lam Thuong is 260km, about 5 hours driving. 
Day 2: Lam Thuong Exploring and Trekking (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Wake up – at your leisure to birds singing and a babbling stream by your room.
Breakfast – Prepared by the local family.
Morning – Trek to Nam Chan waterfall and neighboring villages.
Lunch – Picnic by the mountain stream and learn about the way of life of local villagers living in mountain areas.
Afternoon – Go back to the homestay and rest your legs with an herbal foot soak in your own private bath.
Dinner – Have a quiet dinner at the homestay prepared by the local family.
Note: There is an easy trekking route and hard route, depending on weather, you can make a choice on arrival. Keep in mind the harder route will take more time and so will need to depart earlier than the easy route.
Day 3: Lam Thuong – Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
Breakfast – Prepared by the local family.
Morning – Cycle to Phai Luong river for peaceful bamboo rafting in Na Be village.
Lunch – Cycle back to the homestay for lunch with the local family and check out.
After lunch – Head back to Hanoi to be dropped off wherever you are staying
